This Cancellation and Rescheduling Policy (Policy) sets out the terms that apply when you book a consultation, coaching session, training session, project meeting, or other scheduled appointment with WorkM8 Consulting (ABN 45 853 922 742) (we, us, our, WorkM8).
By booking an appointment with us, you agree to be bound by this Policy. This Policy should be read together with our Software & Services Agreement and our Privacy Policy.
1. Application
- 1.1 This Policy applies to all consultations, coaching sessions, training sessions, project meetings, and other scheduled appointments booked with us, whether paid or unpaid.
- 1.2 Where a separate written agreement (such as a statement of work, retainer agreement, or order) sets out different cancellation terms for a particular engagement, those terms prevail to the extent of any inconsistency.
2. Cancellation and rescheduling notice

2.1 If you need to cancel or reschedule an appointment, you must notify us at least 4 hours before the scheduled start time. You may give notice by:
- Using the cancellation or rescheduling link in your booking confirmation email; or
- Emailing us at support@workm8consulting.com.
- 2.2 A notification received less than 4 hours before the scheduled start time will be treated as a No Show in accordance with clause 4.
3. Rescheduling limits
- 3.1 You may reschedule a session up to three (3) times at no additional charge, provided each reschedule complies with the notice period in clause 2.1.
- 3.2 A fourth or subsequent reschedule of the same session will require payment of a new consultation fee at our then-current rates before the session is rebooked.
4. No shows

4.1 A No Show occurs if you fail to attend a scheduled appointment and either:
- Do not contact us before the scheduled start time; or
- Notify us less than 4 hours before the scheduled start time, in breach of clause 2.1.

4.2 Where a No Show occurs, we may, at our discretion:
- Treat the session as delivered for the purposes of any package, retainer, or prepaid block of sessions.
- Require payment of a new consultation fee before any further sessions are scheduled.
- Decline to provide further services to you.
5. Fees and refunds
- 5.1 Subject to clause 6, fees paid for consultations, coaching sessions, training sessions, and other appointments are non-refundable, including in the case of a No Show or where rescheduling limits have been reached.
- 5.2 Where we cancel or reschedule an appointment, we will offer you the choice of an alternative time at no additional charge or, where no acceptable alternative is available, a refund of any fees paid for that appointment.
6. Australian Consumer Law
- 6.1 Nothing in this Policy excludes, restricts, or modifies any consumer guarantee, right, or remedy you have under the Australian Consumer Law (Schedule 2 to the Competition and Consumer Act 2010 (Cth)) or any equivalent New Zealand consumer law that cannot be excluded, restricted, or modified.
7. Relationship to other terms
- 7.1 This Policy is supplemental to our Software & Services Agreement. Where there is any inconsistency between this Policy and the Software & Services Agreement, the Software & Services Agreement prevails.
8. Changes
- 8.1 We may update this Policy from time to time. The current version is always available on our website. The "Last updated" date at the top of this Policy indicates when it was last changed.
