WorkM8 grew out of two siblings using ServiceM8 to run their own operations, and finding most small businesses needed help doing the same. Eight years on, we still set ServiceM8 up the way we'd set up our own.

Origin

A brother and a sister, two service businesses, and a platform that worked.

It started on Waiheke. Joanne was running Waiheke Movers, a small but busy removals business that didn't fit any of the off-the-shelf job-management tools she'd tried. She landed on ServiceM8, set it up to match how the work actually happened, and the back office started running itself.

Across the Tasman, Franco (Joanne's brother, three decades deep in managed services, CRM, and ITSM) was hearing the same story from clients on his side. Small operators with great work and the wrong systems. ServiceM8 fit them; not many of them were getting it set up right.

WorkM8 began in 2018 to do that work properly: implement ServiceM8 the way you'd implement it for your own business, then step back. Within six months of becoming a ServiceM8 partner we'd hit Gold; the following year ServiceM8 named us their Emerging Partner of the Year 2021. Eight years later, we're still doing the same work across Australia, New Zealand, and the United States. The brief hasn't changed.
